Weekly reports are hard because they run on memory. Your Agents did a week of work and what you remember is fragments. looptend’s approach is to have the record first and let the summary come out of it. Four principles.
Start from the record on this computer
Agents run on your computer every day: every session, every turn, how many Tokens, all recorded locally. The work summary starts from that record. You pick a time range, today, yesterday, the last few hours, or a custom range of up to seven days; press “Generate” and only then does it start writing. If you do not press, it does not write.
First person
The summary says what I finished today, not what the system detected. It is written by business outcome, under Done today and Done this week; In progress appears only when something is unfinished. What comes out is something you can use as is.
Clear about where the excerpts go
When it generates, looptend takes the first prompt and last reply of each session in that time range, plus the project’s git commits, strips out any secrets and sends them to looptend’s own summary service. Once written, they are discarded and never saved to disk. You do not configure any API.
Status, quota and diagnostics are all computed on your computer and never leave it.
Usage and cost counted together
The usage report sits next to the summary: Tokens, estimated cost, active days and the busiest day, viewable by Agent, project and model. Cost is estimated from each vendor’s public prices and marked as an estimate. What got done and what it cost, side by side, is what makes a summary clear.
The difference between Free and Pro
Free has the usage report with preset time ranges and fixed weekly and monthly report images. Pro has the work summary, custom dates and filters on the usage report, and export of summaries and reports to Word and PDF; image export is already in Free.
Teams want the same thing
looptend Work takes this to the team: what each person’s Agents finished is written into daily and weekly reports once that person confirms it, and the team aligns on work that was actually done. Generated on each computer, sent only after the person confirms; no scores, no rankings; the raw record never leaves the machine.
